Community Market happens on Thursday mornings only and is open to anyone within the Bastrop County community. It is a smaller, select distribution of refrigerated or frozen food and bread.
-Shopping Guides are needed to support the neighbor in understanding what the selection of food is and what quantity is available to them. Shopping Guides will be assigned to specific stations vs taking the neighbor all the way through the shopping experience from start to finish.
-Shopping Guides may also assist in check-out process which includes weighing and inputting weights into our Food Bank Manager system, in a computer.
-- Once complete, please allow time at the end of your shift to clean your work station, including sweeping, discarding trash or spoilage, or sanitizing your work station.
